Patents/Technology Transfer
The Neurofarba Department holds numerous patents, including intellectual property protection worldwide, thanks to its intensive interdisciplinary research activities. Neurofarba members are also involved in a high number of clinical trials and multicenter observational studies, which represent important clinical research activities for the Ministry, the Region, and various Associations/Foundations. Many Neurofarba members organize global conferences on specific topics and are recognized experts capable of providing significant research contributions at national and international levels, not only for the evaluation of drugs or drug candidates but also for diagnostics, theranostics, and disease markers. Some hold prominent scientific positions within Societies, Foundations, and national and European working groups; others are invited to working tables or serve on advisory boards. Additionally, many department members are engaged in delivering Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses.
